Firstly, the plan highlights the importance of strengthening external promotional efforts to build a globally recognized tourism brand known as "Lively Guangdong and Fashionable Bay Area." This initiative is expected to attract more international visitors by showcasing the unique cultural and natural attractions of the province. Secondly, the government will continue to improve the efficiency of border clearance procedures and service standards to make it easier for residents from Hong Kong and Macau to visit and consume in Guangdong. This includes providing convenient visa services for foreign business, medical, and flight crew members visiting the province. Additionally, cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Jiangmen, and Chaozhou are encouraged to develop high-quality and distinctive inbound tourism routes and services. These measures aim to position these cities as key destinations for international tourists. The plan also supports Guangzhou in further developing its status as an international consumption center and encourages Shenzhen to actively pursue the title of international consumption city. The promotion of instant purchase and immediate tax refund services is also a key focus under this scheme, aiming to enhance the overall shopping experience for international visitors in Guangdong.
